Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is a stain on the name of the AC series, as well as Nintendo and the amiibo line up as a whole. While there are a few interesting concepts, Nintendo has largely asked consumers to pay for a product that would be free from most competitors, while still charging consumers for additional products to unlock content that is better without external add-ons.
