Defense Grid: The Awakening is Xbox Live's First "Game with Gold" Jul 1st 2013, 06:59 Just announced by Major Nelson, and available tomorrow through July 15th, Defense Grid: The Awakening is the first game available as part of the new Games with Gold promotion. This comes as a surprise to fans who were expecting Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 2 to be released first.
